



Freetown 2 May 2014: The Public Sector Reform Unit (PSRU) will be organising a two day forum of Government Ministers, Deputy Ministers and Permanent Secretaries on the priorities and operations of Government, with a view to creating an understanding of the importance of leadership roles and effective political-administrative interface for the achievement of national development objectives. The forum which will be held on 8th and 9th May at the Miatta Conference Centre will serve as a platform to clarify roles and responsibilities and enhance relations among Ministers, Deputy Ministers, Permanent Secretaries and Administrative Heads so as to provide a more conducive environment that will allow for the achievement of national development outcomes at a faster rate. This forum is a follow-up to the three-day forum held on 13-15 September 2010 where-in a ten point Communiqué was signed in order to clarify roles and further improve on the working relationship between political administrative strata.
